At Slab N Burl Hardwoods, we supply premium native Western Australian hardwood timber slabs and burls, including Jarrah, Marri, Karri and Blackbutt.

Our slabs are air dried to a stable moisture content and are available raw or levelled and sanded — ready for your project, whether you’re a furniture maker, designer or DIY builder.

Salvaging

Giving forgotten trees a second life

• We source native Western Australian hardwood from fallen, salvaged, or responsibly recovered trees

• Timber is selected for character, size, and quality

• Species include Jarrah, Marri, Karri, Blackbutt and other local hardwoods

• Each piece is unique, with natural grain, movement and features

Log To Slab

Slow process. Refined result.

• Logs are milled into slabs and burls

• We cut a wide range of sizes — from small feature pieces to very large slabs (up to 6–10 metres)

• Live edges and natural shapes are preserved wherever possible

• Each slab is assessed individually based on structure and grain.

• All timber is air dried naturally over time

• Slabs are seasoned to approximately 10–15% moisture content

• Available options:

  • Raw / rough sawn

  • Levelled

  • Levelled and sanded\

    (We offer this service to those who have their own timber.)
