All Sales Final
Due to the unique and natural nature of our timber products, all sales are final. We do not accept returns for change of mind, incorrect fit, or natural variations in grain, colour, or shape.

Faulty or Damaged Items

• If your order arrives damaged or significantly different from its description:

• Contact us within 7 days of delivery

• Email: sales@slabnburlhardwoods.com.au

• Include your name, order number, photos, and a short explanation

We’ll assess your request and offer a suitable resolution — such as a refund, replacement, or repair. Refunds are processed to your original payment method within 7 business days if approved.

Non-Refundable Items

• Custom-cut or finished pieces (unless faulty)

• Orders with incorrect measurements provided by the customer

• Natural imperfections such as knots, cracks, colour variation or irregular edges

Dispute Resolution

We’re committed to customer satisfaction. If you're unhappy with your product or experience:

• Contact us first — we’ll do our best to resolve the issue

• If no resolution is reached, disputes may be escalated to:

  • Consumer Protection WA

  • Australian Competition & Consumer Commission (ACCC)

Cancellation Policy

Order Cancellation

• Orders can be cancelled within 24 hours of purchase with no penalty

After 24 Hours

• Cancellations may not be accepted once the order has been processed or shipped

• Custom or prepared orders cannot be cancelled

Refund for Cancellation
Approved cancellations within the allowed timeframe will be fully refunded

Delivery & Shipping

At Slab N Burl Hardwoods, we understand every slab is unique. That’s why we offer flexible, Australia-wide delivery options tailored to each order.

Custom Freight Quotes

• After you place your order, we’ll contact you with a quote based on your slab’s size, weight, and your location

• Example: A 200 kg bundle shipped from Manjimup to Sydney was delivered for $440

Depot Pickup (Perth Area)

• Recommended for buyers in Perth metro

• Flat rate of $200

• You’ll receive a quote and can collect your slab from the depot or organise local delivery

Australia Post (Smaller Items)

• For pieces under 22 kg, 105 cm in length and 0.25 m³

• Cost invoiced separately based on AusPost rates

Pickups from Our Locations

• Available by appointment in Manjimup or Peaceful Bay

• Ensure your vehicle can safely carry the slab

• Bring straps or covers if needed, especially in wet weather

Legal & Export Restrictions

Compliance
Buyers are responsible for ensuring their purchase complies with relevant local and international laws

Export Restrictions
Some species may be subject to export controls (e.g., CITES). Please check export eligibility before purchasing for international delivery

International Duties
Buyers are responsible for all import taxes, customs fees, and duties in their country
